Attention Incoming 7th–12th Grade Students: Alexander High School will be offering free sports physicals on Friday, May 15, 2026, during the school day. Completing your physical at this time will ensure you are eligible for the entire 2026–2027 sports season. Parent Authorization and Health History forms must be completed prior to the event. Forms can be picked up and returned to the Jr./Sr. High School office before May 15th. May 13th will be chromebook collection day for the class of 2026. Please return your chromebooks and power supplies to Mrs Mowry. Students taking AP tests may turn them in after their test.

Alexander Drama Club Presents "Frozen, The Musical" Performances are May 2nd at 6 PM, May 3rd at 2 PM, May 8th at 6 PM and May 9th at 4 PM on the stage in the Alexander Cafetorium.

Infinite Campus will be offline from 5 PM today through the weekend for a server upgrade. New links to it will be published on Monday on the parent and students tabs of our website. If you are a Infinite Campus mobile app user you will have to sign out of the app on your phone and then re-choose our school district on the front page. If you need help please submit a support ticket on the district website.

Just a reminder to parents and students that tomorrow 3/6/26 is an early release day. Students will be released at 12:45pm. Students who leave for CCP are permitted to leave the building at their designated times. All other students who need to sign out prior to 12:45 must turn in a note from a parent/guardian in the office tomorrow morning. This includes students who have been approved for early release on their schedule.

The Rio Grande Womens Soccer team is sponsoring a one day youth soccer for girls in 3rd through 8th grade on April 26th. Registration is limited to 60 participants. This is a reminder that there will be a 2 hour early release this Friday (2/27) for all students (PK-12).

This is a reminder that school will be in session Friday, February 13 and Monday, February 16. These dates are being used as make-up days due to snow days.

Alexander Local Schools will be running on time tomorrow, Feburary 10th. The following buses are on Plan A: 3, 23, 24, 25, 33. In the Columbia township area will will not be running the following roads for Bus 9: Gaston, Chestnut Subdivision, LeMaster, and Dailey Road. Pickup and dropoff will be at the Living Water Church at 6:50 AM and 3:30 PM. We will not be running the following roads for Bus 23: Darst and Laurel. Pickup and dropoff will be at the Columbia Township Fire Department at 6:35 AM and 3:50 PM.

Attention Alexander Spartan Families! Spring Sports season is almost here! We will be holding our Spring Sports Preseason Parent Meeting on Wednesday, February 18th at 5:00 PM in the Alexander High School Cafeteria. All Athletes, parents, and guardians of student-athletes planning to participate in spring sports are encouraged to attend. We will review important information including season expectations, eligibility requirements, team communication, and upcoming schedules. Alexander Locals Schools will be running on time for Monday, February 9th. We still have a few roads that are problematic so we are running "Plan A" for the following routes: 3,11,17,23,24,25,33,35. Additionally, we have three routes in the Carpenter area that have roads we are unable to run, they are Buses 9, 23 and 30. We are making changes to the bus plan for today, 2/6/2026. We have added addtional routes to plan A as follows: 5,11,13,15,17,28, and 35. Additionally Bus 25 will not be running some of the roads in the Hooper area and Bus 34 will not be running on Lightfritz Road. Buses 9, 23 and 30 will have modified routes and meet times in Columbia Township , and Buses 7,24,25 will have modified routes and meet time in the Shade area. This is a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences begin this week. Conferences will be held Thursday, February 5 and Wednesday, February 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please call the office to schedule conferences with your child's teachers.
