A few reminders to our Spartan families: 1) Parent- teacher conferences will be held this evening and again on October 16. Please contact the school office to schedule a conference time. 2) This is a friendly reminder that there will be no school this Friday, October 10. 3) Next Friday, October 17 marks the end of the quarter. There will be a two hour early release that day. With the end of the quarter approaching, please encourage your child to check their grades on Infinite Campus. Let's finish the first quarter strong!

Alexander Local Schools is in need of substitute kitchen workers, Para Professionals, and Bus Drivers. Persons interested in either the kitchen or ParaPro positions can submit an email of interest to
careers@alexanderschools.org. The Bus Driver positions are neede to cover routes and field trips as needed. Training is provided. Kitchen and ParaPro positions rate of pay is $16 / hour and Substitue Bus Drivers rate of pay is $18/hour.

Today we went into a brief working lockdown while the Sheriff's Department conducted a planned, routine K-9 sweep. These sweeps are conducted periodically to ensure our campus remains safe and drug-free.
