This is a reminder that school will be in session Friday, February 13 and Monday, February 16. These dates are being used as make-up days due to snow days.
Alexander Local Schools will be running on time tomorrow, Feburary 10th. The following buses are on Plan A: 3, 23, 24, 25, 33. In the Columbia township area will will not be running the following roads for Bus 9: Gaston, Chestnut Subdivision, LeMaster, and Dailey Road. Pickup and dropoff will be at the Living Water Church at 6:50 AM and 3:30 PM. We will not be running the following roads for Bus 23: Darst and Laurel. Pickup and dropoff will be at the Columbia Township Fire Department at 6:35 AM and 3:50 PM.

Attention Alexander Spartan Families! Spring Sports season is almost here! We will be holding our Spring Sports Preseason Parent Meeting on Wednesday, February 18th at 5:00 PM in the Alexander High School Cafeteria. All Athletes, parents, and guardians of student-athletes planning to participate in spring sports are encouraged to attend. We will review important information including season expectations, eligibility requirements, team communication, and upcoming schedules. Alexander Locals Schools will be running on time for Monday, February 9th. We still have a few roads that are problematic so we are running "Plan A" for the following routes: 3,11,17,23,24,25,33,35. Additionally, we have three routes in the Carpenter area that have roads we are unable to run, they are Buses 9, 23 and 30. We are making changes to the bus plan for today, 2/6/2026. We have added addtional routes to plan A as follows: 5,11,13,15,17,28, and 35. Additionally Bus 25 will not be running some of the roads in the Hooper area and Bus 34 will not be running on Lightfritz Road. The bus plan for tomorrow 2/4/2026 is as follows: The following bus routes are on Plan A: 1,3,5,11,13,17,23,28,32,33,35. Buses 9, 23 and 30 will have modified routes and meet times in Columbia Township , and Buses 7,24,25 will have modified routes and meet time in the Shade area. This is a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences begin this week. Conferences will be held Thursday, February 5 and Wednesday, February 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please call the office to schedule conferences with your child's teachers.

The Junior High Student Council is sponsoring a school wide spirit week before we head into break. They invite everyone to dress as their favorite holiday character tomorrow (12/17). See you in the morning, Spartans!
The JH Student Council would like to remind everyone that they are hosting a school wide Spirit Week to spread a little cheer before break. Tomorrow is "Country Christmas" day. Break out your most festive flannel.
Alexander Local School District will be closed for Monday, December 15th, 2025 due to weather conditions.

Mark your calendar for next weekend! Our Drama Club presents It Happened on Route 66 on Friday, December 19 at 6 p.m., Saturday, December 20 at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, December 21 at 2 p.m. Come support our students and see what they have been working on!

The Junior High Student Council is hosting a spirit week for grades 6-8 this week. See the attached flyer. They will end the week with a Halloween themed dance on Friday during 8th period. The cost will be $1 and there will also be a photo booth for $1.
