Friday afternoon the gate for the pick up line will not be opened until 2:20 so that we can complete our first fire drill of the year.

We are at the final stages of the playground renovation for the second area at Alexander Local Schools. The surfacing crew is installing the pour-in-place rubber and also adding some additional rubber to the first area. This is why we are asking the community to stay off the ENTIRE playground. If anyone steps on the playground, they could ruin thousands and thousands of dollars of work. The rubber takes some time to install and then cure. People can still use the gated preschool/Kindergarten playground in the front of the school. Thank you for your cooperation, and please help us spread the word.
There will be a last chance sign-up for youth football this Thursday between 7 and 8 PM at the elementary shelter house.
Ohio State Testing results are available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal for currently enrolled students in grades 3 to 11 for the 2024-25 school year.

The Lady Spartan Soccer Teams are sponsoring a soccer camp for girls entering first through 6th grade for the 25-26 school year. The camp is $25 (plus $2 online fee) per camper and will be held July 8th - 10th from 6 to 8 PM each day. Registration is at: https://www.alexandersoccerclub.com/registration

Over the past three years, our newsletter has become quite popular with our Spartan families. I’m proud of how it has grown and of the connections it continues to foster within our community.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to offer a printed and mailed version of the spring edition. We are currently looking for a new business partner to handle the production of the newsletter. However, this change will not happen in time for the summer distribution. The Alexander PTO has decided to hold its annual ice cream social at the beginning of the school year rather than at the end. So this year's ice cream social is scheduled for Monday, August 11th from 5:30 to 7:30. Please save the date! We will send a reminder at the end of summer.
