Senior Students and Parents/Guardians - In October both Alexander HS and Tri-County seniors received information from Herff Jones regarding graduation essentials and other items. All students who are participating in Alexander's Graduation must order the cap, gown and tassel unit (you do not have to order any additional items or packages). Ordering is online only at this link. https://gradmidwest.com/product/cap-gown-tassel-unit/ We know it seems early but the price will go up next month. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact senior advisors, Mrs. Chimo (achimo@alexanderschools.org) or Mrs. Busch (bbusch@alexanderschools.org). Thank you!

Dear Families,
I want to take a moment to address the recent online threats that have been reported against Alexander and other schools in our area and across the state. We understand how concerning this can be for our community, and I want to assure you that the safety of our students is our top priority.
We are closely collaborating with the Athens County Sheriff's Department to investigate these threats thoroughly. They have determined that there is no credibility to the recent threats, but I want to emphasize that we take all threats seriously. Our district is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all students and staff.
We encourage you to talk to your children about the importance of reporting any suspicious activity or messages they may encounter. Together, we can help ensure a secure and supportive school atmosphere.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership as we navigate these challenges. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
William Hampton
Superintendent
Alexander Local School District
