Be very careful coming to school this morning. There are large patches of black ice on the parking lot and sidewalks.

Alexander Local Schools will be running on time tomorrow, Feburary 10th. The following buses are on Plan A: 3, 23, 24, 25, 33. In the Columbia township area will will not be running the following roads for Bus 9: Gaston, Chestnut Subdivision, LeMaster, and Dailey Road. Pickup and dropoff will be at the Living Water Church at 6:50 AM and 3:30 PM. We will not be running the following roads for Bus 23: Darst and Laurel. Pickup and dropoff will be at the Columbia Township Fire Department at 6:35 AM and 3:50 PM.

Attention Alexander Spartan Families! Spring Sports season is almost here! We will be holding our Spring Sports Preseason Parent Meeting on Wednesday, February 18th at 5:00 PM in the Alexander High School Cafeteria. All Athletes, parents, and guardians of student-athletes planning to participate in spring sports are encouraged to attend. We will review important information including season expectations, eligibility requirements, team communication, and upcoming schedules. Please make plans to join us at 5:00 PM in the Alexander Cafeteria. We look forward to a great spring season — Go Spartans!

Alexander Locals Schools will be running on time for Monday, February 9th. We still have a few roads that are problematic so we are running "Plan A" for the following routes: 3,11,17,23,24,25,33,35. Additionally, we have three routes in the Carpenter area that have roads we are unable to run, they are Buses 9, 23 and 30. We are making changes to the bus plan for today, 2/6/2026. We have added addtional routes to plan A as follows: 5,11,13,15,17,28, and 35. Additionally Bus 25 will not be running some of the roads in the Hooper area and Bus 34 will not be running on Lightfritz Road. Bus 30 will not be able to run Old State Route 346 due to it being blocked this morning. Parents can meet the bus at the In Time Church on 143 at 7:10 AM.

The bus plan for Thursday February 5th is as follows: Bus routes will be running on time with the following routes on Plan A: 1,3,23,33. In the Columbia Township area, buses 9,23,30 will not be running some roads. In the Shade area, buses 7,24,25,32 will not run some roads. Also, we will now have school on February 13th as a make up day. Previously this was an off day, but now it is a full day for students and staff. Again attendance is now required on February 13th.

Good Morning, We are adding Plan A to bus 11. Bus 9 will not run Lemaster, Chestnut subdivision and Gaston Rd. Students can meet the bus at Living Water Church at 8:50 and 3:30. Plan A only affects certian roads. If you didn't recieve a letter from your students driver, Plan A will not affect you.
