For The JH Esports Team from Coach Carpenter: Due to the other school also being on Spring break this week, we will be rescheduling to play the following week. Please do not come on Tuesday 3/25. The next tentative date will be April 1st, Tuesday.
Last night some of the Track and Field members and Coaches had the please of joining teams with Albany United Methodist Church to make Spartan power bars to help fuel our athletes at their upcoming meets this season! It was a great time.

5th Grade Parents: There is an informational meeting in the band room (569) tonight March 19th, 2025 at 6:30 concerning band for 6th grade. The Highschool main entry and entry near the band room in the main gymnasium lot will be unlocked for entry.
Tomorrow (March 12th) is our mid year chromebook check-in. Please have your students fully charge their chrome books tonight and they will be checked and repaired as necessary so we will be ready for spring testing.
This is a reminder that preschool registration will be held March 19 & 20. To be eligible, children must be 4 years old by Aug. 1, and residents of the Alexander Local School District. Children must be present at registration. You can make an appointment by calling Alexander Elementary Monday-Friday during school hours at (740) 698-8831.

The Alexander After Prom Committee is selling flats of strawberries for $25. Each flat contains 8 - 1 qt. clamshells. Orders are due by February 24, and strawberries will arrive the week of March 10. I want to inform you of a change to our school calendar. Students will be required to attend a full day of school on April 18th. This date was not included in the original calendar but has been designated as a Make-Up Day due to excessive snow days.

Spring Sports registration is open on Final Forms. If your student plans on participating in the High School sports of: baseball, softball or track and field or Junior High track and field, please be sure to login and register and complete all forms.
Junior High Baseball and Junior High Softball do not need to register.
Registration, all forms and a current physical must be turned in prior to the official start date.
You can access final forms on the school website under the parents tab and athletic forms.
In addition, the mandatory OHSAA Spring Sports meeting will be held March 3rd at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. It is recommended that both parents and athletes attend this meeting.
Bus 35 is running approximately 15 minutes late due to a tree across Rhoric road.
Bus 26 is running approximately 15 minutes late due to a tree over Hogue hollow road.
The students on Hogue hollow will need to meet the bus at the intersection of Buck's Lake road.
