
Winter Transportation Information
Each winter, we work with our township, county, and state partners to make our roads as safe as possible for student transportation.
Decisions about delays and cancellations are made after:
Driving and checking certain roads
Communicating with road crews
Reviewing current forecasts and radar
Cancellation, Plan A, and 2- Hour Delays
Cancellations
School will be canceled when road conditions are unsafe to travel.
Plan A
Plan A is used to avoid certain roads and turn-arounds.
Plan A’s are sent home with your child from the bus driver.
If you did not receive a Plan A we will run your route as normal.
2 Hour Delay
2 hour delays may be used when extra time is needed to:
Allow road crews time to clear roads and put cinders where needed
Clear our parking lot and sidewalks
Provide bus driver with better visibility in daylight
Notifications and Contact
School closings and delays are sent using our school notification system.
