Registration for the 2022-23 school year is open.  Parents of returning students can log into the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus and follow the instructions near the bottom of this page to update records and sign forms.

 

New Student Enrollments Start here:

In order to enroll your student in Alexander Local School District you will need the following documentation:

Birth Certificate
Vaccination Records
Proof of residency within district bounds (utility bill with street address suffices)
Custody Papers (if necessary)

Open Enrollment 

Current Alexander Local Schools Students - Families will be mailed new open enrollment paperwork from the district.  This must be filled out and returned.

New Students - If you desire to open enroll your new student at Alexander Local School District you must be approved by the District Superintendent. Complete the following steps.

  1. Complete the application steps in the Infinite Campus Online Registration.  The application will be placed in a pending status until steps 2 and 3 below are completed and the application is approved by the Superintendent.
  2. Fill out the Inter-district Open Enrollment Application (Click Here
  3. Return the completed application and your students most recent grade card to the district office. (mailing address on top of application) You may also drop the application and attachments off at the district office located at 6091 Ayers Rd, Albany Ohio.

Supporting Documentation For Student Enrollment:

Elementary School:

Elementary School - Parent Compact - This is for your information only.  The teachers will send a paper form home for you to look at - go over with your student, sign and return.

Student Record Request - Print and fill this form out so the district can ask for student records from their previous district 

Junior High / High School:

Parking Pass - This will be filled out and returned to the JH / HS office for approval.  The following documentation will be required for approval:  Completed Application, Copy of Drivers' license, Current Insurance Verification of Vehicle that will be driven.  Applicant must have good attendance, acceptable grades and disciplinary record, and a good driving record. If you don't have the ability to print this form, it can be picked up in the school office.

All Students Regardless of Grade:

Alexander Local Schools Parent / Student Handbook - This contains all the things you need to know for each school ranging from graduation requirements to discipline. This manual is updated yearly in the Fall for the new school year.

Technology Use Agreement - This document explains the proper use and responsibility of users of District Technology.  Students will agree to abide by the terms contained within.  Students will be using online educational platforms, Microsoft Office 365, Google for Workplace etc.  Students under the age of 13 will have an email account for educational purposes and will use content on YouTube and other services.  Students in Grades 8 and below are only able to email staff.

If you are a current parent registering a new student log into your Infinite Campus parent portal, you can complete the application there:

Step 1:  Log into the Parent Portal: (Click Here)

Step 2: Click "More"

Step 3: Click the arrow to the right of Online Registration

Step 4:  Click "New" and start a new application.  The system will automatically pull in family information.

Step 5:  If you need to step away from your application you can resume it by following stems 1 through 3 and then clicking "Continue"
