JANUARY SCHOLARSHIPS

KPMG Future Leaders Program

  • Must be a graduating senior FEMALE planning to enroll in a 4-year undergraduate program for Fall of 2019
  • Must have a proven record of academic excellence and leadership potential
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Must have an interest in a Business or STEM academic track
  • Must be active in the community
  • Must demonstrate significant financial need - (household income not to exceed 75,000 dollars per year)
  • Must provide FAFSA form or University financial aid award letter
  • Must be available to attend a three-day retreat at Stanford University, July 14-16
  • Due January 31, 2019

Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors with Down Sydrome or the sibling of a person with Down Syndrome
  • Must be planning to pursue a degree in Nursing, Education, Social Work, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology
  • Due January 31, 2019

 

FEBRUARY SCHOLARSHIPS

Elks Scholarship for Elks Families

  • Be a graduating senior planning to attend college
  • Be the child or grandchild of a dues-paying Elks member
  • Due February 1, 2019

ESA Foundation Scholarships

  • Multiple Scholarships available - use website to find specific scholarships you are eligible for    www.epsilonsigmaalpha.org/scholarships-and-grants
  • Due February 1, 2019

Buckeye Rural Electric -Ohio's Electric Cooperative Scholarship

  • Applicant must be the child or legal ward of a permanent residential electric cooperative member receiving service for the duration of the 2018-19 academic year
  • Graduating senior with credits for entrance into a college/univeristy or vocational/technical school
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 on the 4.0 scale
  • Due February 9, 2019

Flavorful Futures Scholarship

  • Be a graduating senior planning to enroll at a college/university  or trade/vocational school for Fall of 2019
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on the 4.0 scale
  • Due February 15, 2019

Athens Rotary Club Scholarship

  • Must be a graduating senior 
  • For Gawande Scholarship, must be planning to attend any college/university in Ohio
  • For Worstell Scholarship, must be planning to attend Ohio University
  • Due February 19, 2019

IBI Group Scholarship

  • Must be a graduating senior of an Athens county high school in which you have attended for at least 2 years
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on the 4.0 scale
  • Must have participated in college prep classes in high school
  • Must be accepted to a 4-year, accredited university for fall of 2019
  • Must lack a full scholarship for tuition, room and board at the time of the award
  • Cannot be related to an IBI employee
  • Due February 28, 2019

 

MARCH SCHOLARSHIPS

Harry B. Crewson Freshman Scholarship

  • Be a graduating senior planning to attend Ohio University
  • Be a member or the child of a member of the Ohio University Credit Union
  • Due March 1, 2019

Ohio Association of Public School Employees Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors whose parent/legal guardian is an OAPSE union member
  • Due March 1, 2019

Hino Motors Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors seeking a degree in a program related to manufacturing, transportation, logistics/distribution systems
  • Enrolled in a accredited post-secondary institution in WV or within a 75 mile radius of Hino Manufacturing in Williamstown, WV
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 and a 19 on the ACT
  • Due March 1, 2019

Ohio State Alumni Scholarship

  • Graduating Seniors committed to attending Ohio State
  • Preferably ranked in the top 10-20% of the class
  • Have a record of performance in activities in both the school and the community
  • Impress the scholarship committee during an interview
  • Due March 8, 2019

Ohio Association of Garden Clubs Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors planning to study courses leading to a career in horticulture, conservation, nature and beautification, landscaping design, landscaping contracting, commercial florist or floral arts
  • Due March 15, 2019

Craig Copeland Memorial Scholarship

  • Must be a graduating senior who can demonstrate a commitment to service in the community along with a focus on academic achievement
  • Must be planning to continue community service and a commitment to academics once enrolled in college
  • Due March 18, 2019

Alexander Scholarship (Alexander Future Foundation and Alexander Lions Club)

  • Graduating seniors from Alexander High School planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college/university
  • Due March 30, 2019

Atomic Credit Union Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors planning to attend a school of higher education in the summer or fall of 2019
  • Must be a member of the Atomic Credit Union no later than December 31, 2018
  • Due March 31, 2019

 

APRIL SCHOLARSHIPS

Ohio-Michigan Association of Career Colleges and Schools

  • Graduating seniors who are planning to attend a Career College or School
  • Mutliple scholarships available based on course of study and college

  • Due April 12, 2019

Design a Better Future Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors planning to attend an accredited college/university
  • Willing to design and work on a community improvement project
  • Due April 28, 2019

William D. Squire Educational Foundation Scholarship

  • Graduating seniors with and EFC on the FAFSA of less than 7,000
  • Must know your career goal, be highly motivated and have good character
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Due April 5, 2019

 

MAY SCHOLARSHIPS

Hocking College District Scholars

  • Seniors admitted to Hocking College
  • FAFSA application submitted to Hocking College
  • Due May 1, 2019

 

JUNE SCHOLARSHIPS
