Applying for College: Simple Steps & Procedures

  • Job Corps: Job Corps is a career training & education program for students ages 16 - 24 who meet income requirements. It is designed to help students find the path to personal & career success. ACT/SAT Information 

NCAA & NAIA Information

 
NCAA
Students interested in playing division I or II college athletics need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center during their junior year. 

In addition to registering, students also need to 
  • Take the ACT or SAT
  • Ask the guidance office to send an official transcript to the college & NCAA
  • Meet with the athletic director to be sure you are scheduling the required core courses
  • Request a final transcript with proof of graduation at the end of the senior year

NAIA
Students interested in NAIA college athletics need to register with the NAIA Eligibility Center during their junior year.

In addition to registering, students need to 
  • Take the ACT or SAT
  • Complete registration profile
  • Ask the guidance office to send an official transcript to the college & NAIA
  • Meet with the athletic director to be sure you are meeting all neccessary criteria
  • Request a final transcript with proof of graduation be sent at the end of the senior year.
