Kid Wizard, http://www.kidwizard.com/  This is a website with science related, online, educational games.  I have not played these, but they do use the words magic, potions, and spells, so if you don’t like that you may want to steer clear of this one. They are simply using these as terms to identify science experiments (spells)  and recipes (potions), not serious witchcraft.

Kids.com http://www.kidscomjr.com/home_flash.html On this website there are games and online coloring books for preschoolers as well as a link to a site for older kids.

Learn 4 Good http://www.learn4good.com/games/puzzle.htm  This site has games and puzzles in many categories such as action, adventure, cars & racing, and sports.  The pages I looked at had directions that would require a good reader.

Math and Reading Help http://math-and-reading-help-for-kids.org/kids_games/coin_weighing.html  This one had some links to a few games, but also included links to homework help and articles about problems and decisions many kids face.

meetmeatthecorner.org is a website that allows kids to take virtual field trips.  It is user friendly and tested safe for kids.

NASA for Kids, http://www.nasa.gov/audience/forkids/home/index.html  It connects to games, activities, art, fun facts about space, and more.

Nick’s Mathematical Puzzles, http://www.gbyte.org/puzzles/ Ingenious math teasers. Outstanding links.

PBS website http://pbskids.org/games.html Games, songs, and stories for kids.

Prongo http://www.prongo.com/games/  This site has many online educational games in a variety of areas. It’s broken into three age groups:3-6 yr.olds, 6-9 yr.olds, and 9–12 yr. olds.
