Homework Assignments and Grading
Below you will find a copy of your child's weekly homework assignments. Your son/daughter also receives a hard copy of these assignments every week. The assignments are in the correct sequence at the start of the week. Sometimes we do fall behind and the student needs to take that into account when identifying their assignment.
If your child is in Traditional or Honors Geometry their grade is calculated based on the following percentages: Homework 10%, Syllabus 10%, Notebook 10%, Quiz and Test 70%
In addition to the daily assignments each student in Geometry is given a set of questions(2) that are worth 20 pts towards their grade. These questions are given on a weekly basis and can be found on the back of their syllabus. Students receive these questions at the start of the week and must turn them in on Friday.
At the end of the grading period I will be collecting student notebooks in Geometry and will be checking them for completion. Students need to have all daily notes included in this notebook.
