About the Teacher...

Hello! Welcome to Junior English! Many parents (and some students!) may want to know more about the teacher of this class.

My name is Andrea Chimo; this is my 14th year teaching, and my 13th year at Alexander High School. I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and went to school at Ohio University, where I met my husband. We settled down in Athens because it was convenient at the time, but we have grown to really love this community! Alexander High School has become my second home, and I truly believe Alexander has the best students around!

In my free time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and traveling. My husband and I are also total animal lovers, especially our adorable Siberian Huskies, Apollo and Aurora!
