Alexander Gifted Education

Mission 

Alexander Local School District embraces quality education as its highest priority and seeks to provide students with experiences that promote respect, responsibility and the necessary skills to become productive citizens who engage in life-long learning.

Goals for Gifted Services 

1. To provide a continuum of services for gifted k-12 as indicated in each student’s written education plan.
2. Expand course offerings and extra curricular activities to provide challenging opportunities for all students.
3. To provide appropriate in-service and staff development to teachers and others working with gifted children.
4. To add additional gifted staff personnel as necessary for the adequate instruction of all identified gifted students.
