Fifth Grade Supplies List
Alexander Elementary School 5th Grade Supply List 2011 - 2012 Dear Parents, Listed below are the items your child will need for the start of fifth grade. Individual teachers may have additional requests after the school year begins. Notebook bound paper (non spiral) Pencils (not mechanical) Colored pencils (Crayola works well) Pencil pouch - No Boxes One box of tissues (regular size) for the classroom supply Five (5) Folders (one for each subject) or an accordion folder One glue stick One pair of Scissors Dry Erase Markers - 4 Black Jumbo Book Covers (4) - (We recommend the ones that stretch.) They can be found at Wal-Mart or the Dollar Store. ****Assignment book will be provided for each student. **** NO water bottles are permitted. Please remember that some items such as pencils and paper will need to be replenished throughout the year. We are concerned about the small amounts of space to store students' jackets and bags. The backpacks with wheels will not fit into the students' spaces. Please do not purchase this type of backpack. Thank you, Fifth Grade Teachers
